All the units mentioned earlier were installed in 8×8 driven trucks. The AK-130 gun on the Bareg is designed to attack surface ships and fast attack vessels, as well as land targets. The A-222 Bereg is capable of striking a target within 1-2 minutes and can fire up to 12 shots per minute.

From the specifications, the 130 mm AK-130 cannon has a maximum firing range of up to 22 km. The gun barrel in the turret has an angle of rotation of 120 degrees, while the elevation angle of the barrel is -5 to 50 degrees. Equipped with a radar system, the Bereg is able to detect targets at a distance of 35 km and carry out effective fire at a distance of 20 km and a maximum fire at a distance of 22 km. This self-propelled gun can send fire by remote command from the CPU, or in standalone mode using optical detection.

To power this artillery system, it is supplied by two diesel generators from the mobile support vehicle. The fuel tank capacity for two generators is sufficient to operate the system in standalone mode for seven days.
